- prep board
- fork
- shallow dish
- medium non-stick skillet / non-stick frying pan
- egg lifter
- Pinch bowl
- large plate and 2 paper towel sheets
Ingredients

- 4 large slices of your favorite bread place directly onto prep board
- 4 large eggs
- ½ tsp salt
- vegetable oil for cooking French toast
- 3-4 knobs butter for cooking French toast
Instructions
- Steps:
- Crack eggs into a shallow dish and add ½ tsp salt and whisk together with a fork. Set aside.
- Melt a knob of butter and a little bit of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Dip one bread slice at a time into the egg mixture so that the bread is well covered on both sides. Use an egg lifter to turn the bread over in egg mixture. Transfer bread directly to warm skillet.
- Cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove French toast from skillet using egg lifter and place on paper towel to drain excess.
- Repeat steps 3, 4, 5 till done cooking all bread slices. Remember to switch off the stove.
- Serve warm French toast with your topping of choice. Enjoy!
